World Environment Day 2017

5 June, 2017 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

World Environment Day (WED) is one of the United Nations’ most important days for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since it began in 1974, it has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.

The theme for this year is:

CONNECTING PEOPLE WITH NATURE

This year in support of #WithNature and the Hawkesbury area, we will be supporting the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah. These gardens include 186 hectares of sandstone woodland and gullies maintained as a conservation area. You can make a donation by clicking here like we did.

The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens are a beautiful place to visit. For more information, click here: bluemountainsbotanicgarden.com.au

Join me in support of World Environment Day to ensure we help maintain this beautiful planet we have the privilege to inhabit.

If you have any questions in relation to real estate, please feel free to call me today on 4577 9964.

Summer is here however it is still snowing in the Hawkesbury…

1 December, 2015 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

I love watching the seasons change throughout the year and Summer is one of those particularly popular times where we confidently pack the winter woollies away for good and start enjoying the outdoors fun with family gatherings, bbqs, swimming, kayaking and generally just a great time of year.

Even though it is officially Summer I was enjoying some quiet time this week and lucky enough to witnesses snow in the Hawkesbury…well not the snow as we know snow however snow in the form of seeds falling from the towering trees planted within the Hawkesbury.
