7 March, 2018 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

The Colo River is one of the most popular tourist and weekend-getaway destinations in New South Wales.  Just over an hour away from Sydney, this World Heritage Wollemi Wilderness area is home to a large number of scenic and beautiful walking tracks including Bob Turner’s Track, with steep rock cliffs, verdant bushland, enchanting flora and fauna and deep valleys and waterholes.

Bob Turner's Track Bush Walk Colo RiverThe Bob Turner Track can be found in one of the lower parts of the river and probably one of the easier access routes however still classed a medium grade.  Pack your lunch for a picnic by the River and don’t forget the swimmers as it is always good to cool down after the trek.
