It’s official Rachael Goldsworthy has successfully sold the Windsor Bridge for $140M.
Some believe the Tent People may have been the community purchaser however it has been sold to an undisclosed buyer requesting anonymity but made comment “I bought the bridge to ensure progressive infrastructure for the area”. Since the sale the locals are hopeful of getting Thompson Square back again and the proposed development will add to the character and charm of Windsor.

Tomorrow is a day of remembrance.

Late October, early November,聽is one of my favourite times聽to take a walk along the streets of Windsor.聽 Not only are the Jacaranda trees in full blossom the streets聽are laden with a carpet of purple.
Take the time over the next few days to wander the streets of Windsor as it is a once聽in a year opportunity and not to be missed.

Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) is looking at adopting Option 1 – a high level bridge 35 metres downstream of the existing bridge. (click link below to read the full)
As such they will be conducting achaelogical and geotechnical investigations on and around Windsor Bridge commencing on 23rd April, 2012.
