Things to do in the Hawkesbury – Best Walking Tracks

7 March, 2018 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

The Colo River is one of the most popular tourist and weekend-getaway destinations in New South Wales.  Just over an hour away from Sydney, this World Heritage Wollemi Wilderness area is home to a large number of scenic and beautiful walking tracks including Bob Turner’s Track, with steep rock cliffs, verdant bushland, enchanting flora and fauna and deep valleys and waterholes.

Bob Turner's Track Bush Walk Colo RiverThe Bob Turner Track can be found in one of the lower parts of the river and probably one of the easier access routes however still classed a medium grade.  Pack your lunch for a picnic by the River and don’t forget the swimmers as it is always good to cool down after the trek.

Help me help the Salvos this Weekend?

26 May, 2017 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

Door Knock Appeal or Red Shield Appeal 2017
Help Me Help the Salvos this weekend.

The Red Shield Appeal is The Salvation Army’s signature fundraising drive which helps fund a vast network of social and community services.

The Red Shield Doorknock is held on the last weekend in May. The appeal began in 1965 and is promoted under the red shield symbol. Each year The Salvation Army appeals to the Australian community to ensure they can give hope where it is needed most through their social welfare and community service programs.

These programs are relied upon by vulnerable Australians every single day. They range from providing shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis through practical support and financial counselling, to guiding people with addictions through to a clean, healthy lifestyle.

The appeal invites all Australians – individuals and businesses – to be their partners in mission.

I encourage you to join me in supporting the Salvos this weekend, thank you.

Episode #31 The Drive Home to the Hawkesbury with Rachael Goldsworthy – Is your Circuit Breaker Tripping

5 July, 2016 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, depending on what time you’re watching this video. I’m Rachael Goldsworthy, and I’m checking in with you on the drive home to the Hawkesbury. With all this cold weather that we’ve been experiencing, I don’t know about you, but I tend to navigate to the heaters, the air conditioners, warm clothes, electric blankets, those sorts of things. When you haven’t turned on appliances for a period of time, sometimes those appliances cannot be working the way in which they should be, which is why it’s always good to get an electrician out if the circuit breaker trips. What we’ve found over the years is that when the circuit breakers trip, often that will be because there’s something wrong with the appliance or there’s an overload on the electricals. It’s really important that the family’s safe in your house, and that you’re checking those things if there’s a problem. Don’t keep on switching on the circuit breaker and thinking, “Oh, it just must have switched it off”. There’s always a reason for those things happening, and it’s always best to get your electrician in to assess that for you.

Anyway, I’m Rachael Goldsworthy, and if you’ve got any questions in regards to your investment property or what to do, or what electricians to give a call in regards to making that assessment for you, I’m more than happy to help you. I’m Rachael Goldsworthy, look forward to catching up with you on the next video.

Episode #25 The Drive Home to the Hawkesbury with Rachael Goldsworthy – Inspecting Open Homes in the Rain

22 June, 2016 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening depending on what time you’re watching this video. Rachael Goldsworthy just checking in with you from the Hawkesbury, and wanted to say in regards to all of the rain that we’ve had lately, it’s a really good time to have a look at houses when it has been raining. Reason being, you can see whether it’s water tight, what the drainage is like, what the fall on the property’s like that may not necessarily be apparent if it is a dry day out there. Anyway, just thought I’d just check in and let you know that. Any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call, always happy to help and talk about property. 45-77-9964, we’ll catch up with you soon.
