Looking for a place to warm up for St. Patrick’s Day at the end of the week?  I have put together some interesting fun facts and where to take your dancing shoes on the day everyone goes green  ????

What is St. Patrick’s Day?

St. Patrick’s Day is a religious day set aside in Ireland and its diaspora to celebrate the life of Saint Patrick who passed away in 460 A.D. Many might wonder who Saint Patrick was.

Saint Patrick was an Irish saint who was responsible for converting over 400 people to Christianity. Initially, the latter character was born in Britain but was kidnapped by the Irish. Things to do in the Hawkesbury #45

2 August, 2012 · Posted by Rachael Goldsworthy

Why not take a walk with a friend in Howe Park which is located on The Terrace, Windsor by the Hawkesbury River.  Kids can take their bikes, you could take your skates or your four legged friends as there is a pathway which makes for easy navigation.  There are seats to sit to have lunch, a sight seeing deck to view the River at its best vantage point so much to see and do.

Let me know what you and your friends & family enjoyed the most.

Rachael 🙂
