I love watching the seasons change throughout the year and Summer is one of those particularly popular times where we confidently pack the winter woollies away for good and start enjoying the outdoors fun with family gatherings, bbqs, swimming, kayaking and generally just a great time of year.
Even though it is officially Summer I was enjoying some quiet time this week and lucky enough to witnesses snow in the Hawkesbury…well not the snow as we know snow however snow in the form of seeds falling from the towering trees planted within the Hawkesbury.
Have a great week and if you need any assistance with your home heading into this Summer don’t hesitate to call me 4577 9964.

The annual Clarendon Classic Machinery Rally event (19th & 20th September 2015 – Saturday & Sunday 9am – 3pm) is a fun weekend where you can see plenty of antique machinery.
Snippets from Sydney Antique Machinery Club ~ Clarendon Classic 2012 – What to Expect
“Two day event including restored tractors, and stationary engines, vintage cars, trucks, bikes, antique tools. Implement demonstrations with machinery of days gone by. Great family day. Kids amusement rides. Food and drinks available all weekend.
Features for 2014 are any and all British machines, plus anniversaries of Deutz engines at 150 years, and Dodge Bros. vehicles at 100 years.
There are single cylinder engines chugging away plus big diesels roaring and up to a V16.
There’s free fun rides for the kids, tractor pulls, food and collectors stalls, and over 250 Trucks attended last year.
There’s also the usual contingent of antique and classic trucks, cars, and tractors.
It’s a great weekend for the family right next to Clarendon Railway Station (where on the Saturday there will be a Steam train for travel to Richmond and back).
Every year there are themes for the machinery that is of particular interest. For 2014 that’s 100 years of Dodge Brothers, 150 years of Deutz engines, and also Everything British. There’s a tractor and vehicle trek Sunday morning around the district.”

Rachael Goldsworthy successfully sold the north end of George Street Commercial Precinct back in 2013.
Some believe Ed Sheeran may have been the purchaser. He recently landed in Australia and he was Thinking Out Loud when spotted near Hawkesbury Hotel talking about the Blues & Roots Festival and potential locations for music artists.
However the real buyer is Frank Lowy, Chairman of Westfields who has now purchased Stage 2 the south end of George Street Commercial Precinct for $45.9 to add to the growing Westfield portfolio.
“We always liked the Rouse Hill development and are looking to complete something similar in Windsor and increase the size of George Street Mall approach as part of the overall project. The benefits for residents of Windsor and surrounding suburbs will be exceptional.” said Frank Lowry via phone this morning.
I’m sure all the locals will be excited by the new project.
Enjoy your first day of April!
