As part of the Windsor Road upgrade and the NSW Government’s Hawkesbury Nepean Floodplain Management Strategy, the RTA will build a 2.6km, two lane road between Richmond Road/Macquarie Street at Windsor and Groves Avenue/Windsor Road at Mulgrave. The project will include a high-level 1.5km bridge across South Creek and provide a flood evacuation route for Windsor and surrounding areas, giving residents time to evacuate to safety in the event of a major flood.
